Dean Barbera is originally from Watertown, Massachusetts. In 1993 he graduated from Trinity Catholic High School in Newton, Massachusetts. A three sport athlete and an all-star football player, Dean joined the Marine Corps Reserve and spent the summer of 1993 at Parris Island Marine Corps Recruit Depot in Parris Island, South Carolina. A Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, Dean graduated from Western New England College with a Bachelors of Science in Law Enforcement. In 2003 Dean went on to graduate Cum Laude from the Massachusetts School of Law in Andover, Massachusetts among the top six students in his class.
